I Am So In Love With This Man!!!

For those of you do not know Benny very well let me tell you a little about him...
He is the most,
kind,
sweet,
caring,
giving,
hardworking,
supportive,
hilarious,
talented,
gorgeous,
creative,
and loving person I know.
The best choice I ever made was to marry him. He is so good to me and our cute little kids. I am so happy I get to keep him forever!

When You Give a Boy a Gun

Happy Halloween

What a bunch of cute kiddies...

Cinderella, Our little pea in a pod and Captain Hook.
Such a little doll. She liked the costume a lot better than Austin did her first year wearing it.

Austin loved this costume.

Shaun shot everything he could see.... which in that hat, wasn't much.

Halloween Party

Don't be scared...

Now these lovely ladies, a tooth fairy, (Jesse) a witch without a hat, (Me) and a pregnant fairy (Autumn) had a wonderful time at the party.
Some of the activities included rock band, (please don't miss out on the video below) a skeleton scramble, and scary stories. Here is Ben enjoying the drumming part. He is very focused.

Now this is the Skeleton Scramble. Boys vs. Girls... The boys won.
Spider man and a 20's flapper a.k.a. Shane and Becca
Creepy guy and a tooth fairy. A.k.a Brady and Jesse.
Mario and Maria a.k.a Doug and Tricia. I must say this was my favorite of the costumes. It did however help that Doug kept up his accent all night. He read us a delightful ghost story, followed by his terrifying journey to the Americas.
A Fairy and a Pirate. A.k.a. Autumn and Austin.
Now.... a colorful tiger? and a dark fairy. A.k.a. Davey and Keisha. No, they are not a couple, but they were the only singles there. Please note Davey's Moon Boots. Oh yes, they are legit.
A Witch and surprise, surprise, a Pirate. A.k.a. Brooke and Ben.
Here are a few shots of the decor for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.

The Table.

The prizes for the costume contest. 3 of the 5 winners forgot their prizes, thanks a lot guys. Oh you know who you are, and let me tell you, there went your Christmas card.
The Carmel apples that Tricia and Doug help me make. Thanks guys.
I think it went really well, I hope you all had fun.
Note: Nate and M.C. made an appearance, but I did not document this footage. They came as Jazz players.

Just a little teaser...

Give it up for Davey, Doug and Tricia!

New Room

So it's taken us a while, but Ben and I finally did our room. I absolutely love it! Now keep in mind that I'm almost done with the quilt I'm making for our bed spread. The one that's on there now my dad made for me. :) Don't I have an awesome dad?!

So I made these blocks. Ben cut the wood for me. I love them.
I got two of these frames at a garage sale and painted them.

This is one of my favorite parts. I got this mirror and dresser from KSL and painted them. They turned out super cute. (I also painted the nightstand, next picture)

Our romantic bed. I have wanted a bed like this ever since I was little.

We got mirrors on our closets. I think they make the room look bigger. And I can actually see what I look like before I go out the door.

Elaina's Shower

Today my Sister-in-law Elaina had her baby shower. She is having a girl. I'm so excited for her. Natalie will have someone to play with.

Elaina and some of her friends. From high school I think.
These are my two helpers. My other sister-in-law Hollie was supposed to help, but she got sick. So it was Benny to the rescue. He was awesome. He did all of the decorating and setting up. What a great guy!

Here we are with the last minute details. That is Elaina's Mother-in-law Jerry in the yellow.
This is the food table. Don't mind the oil stains on the driveway. We like to pretend that we are average Joe's so people can relate to us. ;)

Random Post

I mainly wanted to post my little Natalie who is getting SO big. She will be three months old on the 13th. And then I saw some more pictures that you all might enjoy. So... Enjoy.

This is Austin and Shaun on Natalie's blessing day. I know we need to get some more church clothes for that boy. All of his pants are high waters. But I must say he pulls it off well.
Here is my Shaun boy at the park. He LOVES to ride his bike. I got both of them bikes at a garage sale for $5 each! Yes they are ghetto, but the kids think they are the best. In other Shaun Boy news, we are attempting to potty train him. He has had two accidents thus far, But I think he will get it in no time. He loves his Thomas Train and Transformers underwear.

We had a little luau with some of Ben's family, So here we are outside our house all decked out. Perhaps some day we will actually go to Hawaii.... some day.

This is my first quilt I made (with much help from the mother) I made it for my sister in law Dawn, who just had her 4th child. If you don't look too closely, I would say it turned out just fine.

Here she is my little Natalie Jane. Pasty little thing isn't she. She is smiling these days and making all sorts of cute little noises. Austin and Shaun just love her. This last weekend we moved the girls in the same room. Now that Natalie is sleeping through the night. Hallelujah!

Proud Mama

This makes me smile. I have the cutest in the world... and probably the smartest too. I am a bit biased though. :)

This is Shaun singing his made up 'train song' and Austin singing a primary song. Enjoy.

And some articles of faith for good measure. I love how Shaun copies everything that Austin does.

Before and After

In honor of pioneer day we decided to bust out the power sander and cordless drill and paint our kitchen cupboards. A special thanks to Lou Boy and Davey for helping. And also to Tara, Elaina, Shane & Amanda for babysitting. The nerve of both of our parents to go out of town at the same time.

Before ......
And After :)

Natalie Bear

This is what happens when you have a bear suit, camera and way too much time on your hands.

As you see here Natalie is rolling with her homies. It was all fun and games until Austin opened the car door and Natalie fell out. She didn't like that very much.

The big kids wanted their picture taken too. Though you can't see it Shaun does have a diaper on here, so go cast your judgements elsewhere.

Cute Kids

Here are my cute kids. I had to take a picture because all three, yes all three are bathed hair done and matching. Now getting them all to look at the camera, that's a different story.

I must say Ben and I did a good job.

Raspberry Jam

My sister in law Tricia and I made raspberry jam today. It was surprisingly not as hard as I thought. Tricia is quite the home maker. And to those of you who benefited from our work, if you find a hair in there notice in the picture who's hair is up and who's hair is down. Just wanted to get that out of the way.

Thanks for letting us use your kitchen mom. It is very sparkly.

Miss Natalie Jane

She is here! Natalie Jane Hunter. 7 pounds 15 ounces. Blonde hair and blonde eyelashes. She is such a good little baby. She loves to eat, sleep and snuggle.

Sleeping as usual.
The proud grandparents. This is their 3rd grandchild.

All of my cute kids. Shaun is very cautious not to get too close. Austin just loves her. She loves to hold her and give her the binky. She sometimes tries to take the binky for herself though.

Aunt Amanda. She was at our house bright and early when we got home, and then took her straight to Albertsons to show her off. After she changed her outfit of course.

My cute girl! Don't judge my appearance. Natalie may look small.... But it doesn't feel that way when they are coming out!
She has so much hair... Well she is no hispanic baby, but I think it is a lot.

Our whole family.

This is my sister in law Tricia, she thought it would be funny to mess with my camera while I was stuck in a hospital bed... I bet she didn't think I would post it for all to see. (harsh comments welcome)

The mother has been waiting for a new baby for a long time.

Ben is so cute with our little Natalie.
