The Baby Is Married!

On Saturday Bainzy and Becca were married. It was such a nice wedding. For your viewing pleasure...

The happy bride and groom.
Here they are again. Becca's dress was gorgeous!

Here is Bainzy just before people started crowding in.

Of course I could not pass up the opportunity to get a family picture since everyone is dressed up. Now if I could only get everyone to look at the camera.

Austin girl dancing with her Uncle Jeff. My kids have really enjoyed him being in town.

All of the original Sommers. Mom, Doug, Me, Shane, Jeff, Amanda and the Daddy.

Natalie is just like her Aunt Amanda... They just can't pass up a mirror.

My Shaun boy had a blast. He especially enjoyed the chocolate fountain. Please see the mother's blog for those photos.

Tricia and Lou. Oh these two make me happy.

All of my siblings.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!

We had a wonderful Christmas and New year. We spent time with friends and family. I love the holidays. I'm so sad that they are over, and now we start the dreadful January where the snow is just not as exciting as it was in December.

Here is our cute family. My mom and dad got them matching sweaters for Christmas. And stop judging my messy house in the background.
Our little miss Natalie Jane is getting so big. She is such a good baby. I love getting her all dressed up in Austin's old clothes.

We had a fun little New Years party. Until Ben announced (without speaking to me first) that he would give every person there a $20 bill if he did not meet his weight loss goals by his birthday. Gotta love new years resolutions.

Me and my baby girl. We went up to see the lights at temple square on Christmas day.

Shaun, Benny and Austin. Natalie was there too, but she was too bundled up to get a good picture.
Here are the kiddies decorating cookies for Santa. And yes Austin is eating sprinkles on a spoon.

Christmas Eve. The whole family got new pajamas.

My mom and I (and the kids, who are always attached to me) went to California before Christmas. My cousin Patrick got married. It was so nice to see everyone. This is my Mamal and Papal. I miss them already.

The primary in our ward put on a nativity scene this year for our ward Christmas party. Austin was very sad she did not get to play Mary. But lucky for her she has her own baby, and brother. She is quite the little director.

The kids went to see Santa at the mall. They were both quite brave.

Shaun hesitated a little. :)

gorgeous,
creative,
and loving person I know.
The best choice I ever made was to marry him. He is so good to me and our cute little kids. I am so happy I get to keep him forever!

When You Give a Boy a Gun

video

Happy Halloween

What a bunch of cute kiddies...

Cinderella, Our little pea in a pod and Captain Hook.
Such a little doll. She liked the costume a lot better than Austin did her first year wearing it.

Austin loved this costume.

Shaun shot everything he could see.... which in that hat, wasn't much.

Halloween Party

Don't be scared...

Now these lovely ladies, a tooth fairy, (Jesse) a witch without a hat, (Me) and a pregnant fairy (Autumn) had a wonderful time at the party.
Some of the activities included rock band, (please don't miss out on the video below) a skeleton scramble, and scary stories. Here is Ben enjoying the drumming part. He is very focused.

Now this is the Skeleton Scramble. Boys vs. Girls... The boys won.
Spider man and a 20's flapper a.k.a. Shane and Becca
Creepy guy and a tooth fairy. A.k.a Brady and Jesse.
Mario and Maria a.k.a Doug and Tricia. I must say this was my favorite of the costumes. It did however help that Doug kept up his accent all night. He read us a delightful ghost story, followed by his terrifying journey to the Americas.
A Fairy and a Pirate. A.k.a. Autumn and Austin.
Now.... a colorful tiger? and a dark fairy. A.k.a. Davey and Keisha. No, they are not a couple, but they were the only singles there. Please note Davey's Moon Boots. Oh yes, they are legit.
A Witch and surprise, surprise, a Pirate. A.k.a. Brooke and Ben.
Here are a few shots of the decor for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.

The Table.

The prizes for the costume contest. 3 of the 5 winners forgot their prizes, thanks a lot guys. Oh you know who you are, and let me tell you, there went your Christmas card.
The Carmel apples that Tricia and Doug help me make. Thanks guys.
I think it went really well, I hope you all had fun.
Note: Nate and M.C. made an appearance, but I did not document this footage. They came as Jazz players.
