I just need to start out this post by saying... It has happened. Ben has finally grown up. I don't know how I feel about this. This is the first year he has not dressed up for Halloween. The pirate costume is still in its protective garment bag hanging in the closet. Is this a sign of the things to come? Needless to say the kids were not impressed by his choice of late night class over trick-or-treating.

This is Ben presenting in the Ball State diversity symposium. This is why we missed the ward trunk-or-treat. I was very impressed by his presentation though. He did a great job! I love this man!

Happy Birthday Shaun Boy!

Can you believe it? He is four years old! I can hardly stand it. He is growing up so fast. Let me tell you a little about my guy. Firstly, he is a superhero. he is also a ninja, knight, pirate, power ranger, and at times a villain. He is such a sweetheart. He loves to snuggle me, because he knows I love it. I love my little man.

So handsome.

Now that Austin is in Kindergarten, it's just these two at home during the day. Shaun loves Natalie. He loves to play with her and give her rides in the baby stroller (even though the wheels are buckling)

Playing the wii. This keeps him very occupied on the freezing cold days.

For his birthday we took him to the Olive Garden (thanks Mom and Dad) He was able to pick exactly what he wanted. He shared his dessert with everyone.

Trip to Disneyland

We recently returned from a much needed trip to California. We were able to visit family, who I have been away from for faaaar too long. It really was so nice to see everyone. I miss them already! We were also able to go to Disneyland. It was so much fun! The kids are already planning their next trip.

Here they are in front of the castle. This was the first thing on Austin's list of course. And yes, she carried that stuffed horse all day.

We went to our friends house last week to decorate gingerbread houses. The kids had so much fun. (Thanks Mom for sending me all of the stuff)

This of course is Shaun's. He dumped sprinkled on it and then put more frosting on top. Atta boy.

We finally put up our tree. The kids had so much fun decorating it. It's a small tree that goes perfectly in our small apartment. We love it!

We have been having a relaxing weekend with Ben home. We have been out to see Santa too. Austin lost her 2nd tooth. We realized that Shaun needs more "outside" time. And Nattie Bear declared Thanksgiving as her favorite holiday.

Here we are at Bass Pro. The kids love the "fishy store". It is one of their favorite places to go. It is not really my favorite, so I usually have Ben take them. It was SO crowded!

Our ward had a trunk-or-treat last night, and we all had so much fun getting dressed up and eating waaay too much candy. After we went to our friends Travis and Alicia's house (or the twins house if you ask Shaun) for another fun Halloween party.

When the Mother came to town she watched the babies while Benny and I had some alone time.

We went to a corn maze with his school. It was way out in the country. We had a lot of fun.

We went to Chili's all by ourselves. But of course we had to get some balloons for the kids.

Enjoying our lasts few minutes of freedom before we got back in the car to head home.

I love this man! He is so good to me. I love that he is working so hard for his family. He is awesome!

A Visit From The Mother

It was so nice to see her! We missed her the minute she went into the airport. Austin girl was the most emotional of the bunch. We went to parks, she took me shopping, she took the kids toy shopping, (Nattie is still carrying around her baby) and we just had a fantastic time. She even watched the babies while Benny and I went on a much needed date.

Here we are at the mall. Of course Grandma broke my rules and let them have their costumes early. Shaun has been taking his sword and shield with him everywhere he goes.

Austin and her Grandma. I think Austin would much rather live with Grandma and Grandpa than Mom and Dad. Maybe that will be her motivation to get into BYU in 13 years.

It's Been A Long Time...

Since I have updated my blog. So there might be quite a few pictures to post.

Here is my handsome Shaun boy. This was at the missionary bonfire in our ward a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun. Our kids especially loved the horses.

Austin girl loves make-up. She chose purple lipstick this time. FYI if you want to be Austin's friend, just offer to do her make-up and you're in.

Lately...

Shaun Boy is talking to his big sister Austin on the phone. Every time Austin calls, he is the first to say "I want to talk to Austin" he really misses her.

Naddie Bear is walking... well kind of. She only does this occasionally. If you try to make her do it for show she gets angry.

Shaun Boy loved the zoo today. We had a great time with Jaimie and her cute kids.

Yesterday we moved ALL of our earthly possessions from the moving truck to a storage shed. It was very hot. Shaun had a great time. He had the very important job of tying all of the bikes together. Natalie was exiled to the pack and play. She was angry.

Well, It's official. We are now Springfieldites? We just arrived today, and so far I absolutely love it! I love that Ben and I are now on our own. It is a bit scary... especially when you are lost driving around downtown Kansas City looking for a gas station that has diesel with the gas light on. A word to the wise... Don't go to downtown Kansas City after dark. Now I have some pictures form the trip here and I want you all to know that I did not swerve one bit while taking these. I just had to delete a TON of pictures. Most of them were of the sky, when I was shooting for yet another corn field.

Here is my adorable little Naddie Bear. She was Daddy's helper half of the time. As long as she has a baba and a toy that makes noise she is a happy camper. I had to give her my walkie talkie a few times though.

Early in the morning on our way out. At this point I had Natalie in the car with me, she was asleep of course.

Here is my Shaun boy. This poor little guy is very confused right now. Good thing he has new toys to soften the blow right? The whole trip he was just naming off things that he is 'never going to see again'

This is the beast that my Benny drove the whole way. If you look very closely you can see a small Bear in the passenger side.

Ok Folks, this is the hote- motel that we stayed in the first night on the road. Never again! Those are all crickets!!!! Click on the picture for a better view and so that you can sympathize with me. The next night I MADE Benny take us to a nicer one. He was kind of mad that is cost double... But it was one of those situations that I would just gladly take the consequences.

My happy girl. Yes that is a box of wheat thins. I just kept handing her things to try to keep her occupied.

She just couldn't keep her eyes open. I love this girl. She is such a sweetie. She was very well behaved this trip.

We stayed at about 55 mph the whole time. It was a long trip with that big truck.

I thought this was WAY cool. So this is the highway that we are on and a whole lane was closed due to flooding. We are definitely not in Utah anymore.

Shaun was very protective of his backpack the whole time. If he had to go to the bathroom his backpack went with him. This is where he keeps his power rangers.

This was a reservoir that we passed over. I thought it was neat in a very trees growing in the water kind of way.

Just as I was putting these pictures on my computer I realized that I didn't take a single one of Benny. He was in a different car for the last 1,200 miles. So here he is all snuggled up and ready for bed. I love this man. Though I will miss everyone in Utah VERY much, I am so excited to start this new adventure with him.

A Weekend Away

Benny and I headed down to Hurricane for a weekend alone. Can you believe it's been six years!? We had such a wonderful time together. We slept in, shopped, golfed (well, Benny did) ate out, and ahem, other fun stuff.

Hunter Family Reunion 2010

Today we just got home from our 3rd annual family reunion. We had so much fun. The kids all got along great. I'm so sad it's over... but I am so happy that I am not camping anymore.

Grandma Judy. We love this lady. She was such a trooper, even though she slept in her car with the heat on a few nights. Yeah, it was kind of cold.

My handsome Shaun boy. He had a blast! In the Hunter family we have 4 boys within a year... It can get kind of crazy at times, but they have such a great time when they get together.

This is little Allie. She is such a good baby. I just couldn't pass up this photo opportunity. Just look at her.

Me and my Benny. This was after I had spent about an hour doing my hair for the family photo, and immediately after was engaged in a water balloon fight.

OK, so these two were inseparable this year. This is my Austin and her cousin Dianna. Dianna has a friend that is a boy named Austin, so the whole time she refered to her as girl Austin. They were so cute.

So here is Ben... Yeah he's peeved. Today we were getting packed up and Nate (Ben's little brother) and I decided to do a friendly water balloon ambush on him. Ben being the layed back chill guy he is, we thought this would be fun.... Nate hits Ben in the back with a balloon and Ben turns around and throws a plastic tent stake at Nate. He missed. And hit Matt and Meshelle's tent. So now there is a 4" hole in their tent and guess who has to replace it. That should explain the look on Ben's face. Not that Ben ever reads this blog, but Honey you need to lighten up!

She may look cute but babies + camping = trouble. And she knows it. She was banished to Provo to spend a day at my parents house during the reunion. She did however make a brief appearance for the family photo.

Now you can totally tell that these two beauties are sisters. Shannon and Karyn are two of Ben's many sisters.

This is Brig and Elaina. Now these two brought luxury to the "wilderness" Their camper had heat and a/c and needless to say was a popular hang out with the kids when it came to movie time.

Yesterday My Benny finished his very first marathon. Yes, he is awesome. He can't really walk today, but I am still proud.

Now I find this picture both painful and disgusting. This is what happens to runners who are not fortunate enough to own a sports bra.

Austin and Shaun were so happy to see their daddy. We were waiting for quite a while.

Look at that guy. He sure doesn't look like he just ran a full marathon. What a man!

Uncle Jeff is 50!

This weekend we went to Logandale/Hurricane for my Uncle Jeff's 50th birthday party. We stayed in Hurricane at my parents condo. It was so fun to see the family. We went hiking in Zion on Friday (that is when I had my camera out) and Uncle Jeff took us to the lake on Saturday.

Frog. I guess when I think of a desert I don't think of frogs. But this little guy blended right in.

Natalie was so good on the hike. She didn't actually do a whole lot of hiking though. Grandpa bought her a hat and sewed a ribbon on it. Very clever.

This is Uncle Jeff. He doesn't look a day over 48 if you ask me.

My Benny. He carried Natalie in the pack most of the time. I love this guy!

Shaun had SO much fun with his Uncle Jeff. Jeff brought his little dog, Carlton. He was the hit of the weekend with the kids and Tricia. Jeff left a day early and Shaun asked about him quite often.

My little Austin was such a good little hiker. She was getting a bit tired toward the end. With all of the grown ups there she did get carried every once and a while.

Austin did such a great job singing. She has been practicing so long. She was so fun to watch.

I can't believe our little bear is 1. Wow! I guess it's time to have another. SO just kidding. We had a little fiesta for her yesterday. I think her favorite part was the cupcake. Coincidentally that was my favorite part too.

This is the banner we made for Natalie, well it's really just 3 half sheets of paper. She is just turning 1.

Inaugural Girls Weekend

I just got back from the Sommers first girls weekend. It was really fun. We went to St. George and stayed in the parents condo. We just so happened to go the very same weekend as the St. George Ironman. For those of you who don't know what an Ironman consists of, let me just tell you. So you start off with a 2.4 mile swim, and then you go on a 112 mile bike ride, and to top it off you run a full 26.2 mile marathon. It was really neat to watch. The guy that won did that all in 8 hours and 25 minutes. Wow! Tricia and I felt like our half marathon was sounding pretty pitiful.

So while we were having lunch this little guy walked over to us looking very hungry. Tricia gave him a generous chunk of her Cheeto. He picked it up and started walking away with it. He will most likely be king of the colony upon his return. And yes Tricia knew full well that there was a $100 fine for feeding the wild life. It has been so nice outside lately. I absolutely LOVE it! The kids and I are outside or at the park almost everyday now. Someday I want to live in Arizona where it is beautiful year round. Sure it's beautiful here too, but I really love this warm weather.

Natalie, Shaun, Grady, Austin, and Aiden at the Scera park. They all keep Natalie so entertained.

Austin LOVES this necklace that her daddy gave her. The clasp broke so it is actually being held together by a bobby pin. She sure loves that daddy.

This is one of Austin's new swimming suits. It came with a cover up which she thinks is acceptable to wear all day everyday.

My poor little guy. We were playing soccer today at Grandma Brenda's and he tripped over the ball and hit his little head on the cement. I felt so bad. He was not very happy about it either.

He did kind of enjoy having the cold thing on his head and being able to watch Dora for a while after.

These are my new rollerblades. I got then from D.I. for $5. Talk about a deal. Not to mention a flash back to 1994. When I am on them I feel like a chubbier version of a newborn horse. Maybe that's why I should use them to push the kids in the jogger, (something to help me balance) if mom goes down everybody goes down!

My little blue eyed Natalie Bear. This girl is such a doll. She recently started giving "luvs" on command.

Half Marathon

Doug and Tricia and I did the Salt Lake City half marathon yesterday. It was SO much fun. We decided to do it in the beginning of the year, and I am so glad we did. I can't wait to do another one. We stayed together the whole time, but Doug decided he had something to prove the last block. So Tricia and I finished in 2:09:52. Pretty impressive I think.

Dad Vader

Recently Shaun and Austin have been doing extra jobs and saving their money because Shaun wanted to buy a light saber and Austin wanted to buy another new swimming suit. This girl practically lives in swimming suits. So Shaun had saved up enough money and we talked to him about tithing and he willing gave, so we were very proud of him. So he got his coveted blue light saber so he could be Luke Skywalker.

Now ALL day he has been fighting me (I am using Uncle Shane's light saber) with his new light saber. He had not put the thing down all day. He LOVES it. So I was talking to Ben while he was at work, telling him all of this, and Ben who is my favorite person in the whole world and the biggest kid I know gets this idea...

So Ben went to Wal*Mart after work and bought a light saber of his own, though I don't think he did his extra jobs around the house. Oh well. When he got home from work he snuck in the house and went up to his room and put on the most convincing Darth Vader ensemble my 3 year old boy has ever seen.

I was thinking Shaun would just run out and fight him as fast as he could. But I guess Ben was just a little too convincing.

Let's just say Shaun was very relieved to find out it was just his Daddy.

I'm So Happy That's Over

So here we are at Doug and Tricia's house, and yes folks, most of this came out of our house. Can you say ridiculous? We did have pretty nice weather and the good people of Provo decided to show up as well. All of our leftovers went to D.I. I was thinking I could just save them for our next garage sale before we move, but then I thought, I just got all of this out of my house, No way am I bringing it back in.

So we had to make two separate trips, not to mention the car is full too.

Shots---Ice Cream---Jump On It

This morning we (Me, Austin, Shaun, Natalie and their dear kind Aunt Tricia) all went down to the health department for the kids immunizations. I'm just glad Tricia was there. So Austin went first and let me tell you she was not happy. I gave her some Tylenol before we left, and when she asked what it was for I told her she was going to get her shots today for kindergarten. Well THAT was not a good idea. This poor little girl got so nervous. On her way back to the room she was crying and begging not to go. And when she actually got her shots all hell broke loose. She was screaming and crying. I honestly thought she was going to pass out. I felt so bad for my little girl. Not to mention they gave her 5 shots! Poor little thing. When we got back out to the waiting room She was still screaming. I thought she was going to make Shaun start crying.
Shaun was very brave on the walk back to the exam room. He was just talking it up how he was going to get ice cream after this and have gummy bears on top. He did however start to get nervous when the nurse started prepping his arm. After that he was not happy. He wasn't quite as bad as Austin, but still. I took him back out to the waiting room, and left poor Tricia with two crying kids while I took Natalie back.
Now in my opinion Natalie's was the worst because the poor little thing didn't know what was coming. When we got to the exam room the nurse was just talking to her and my happy little Natalie was just smiling back. Then that mean old nurse just poked her. All of the sudden Natalie's smile was gone, and she looked shocked and confused. And when the nurse gave her the second shot it was an all out panic. So when I brought the third crying kid in the waiting room, I figured it was maybe time to get out of there and go get ice cream.

Here they are happy as can be before the torture begins. We certainly did not leave the building looking this way.

Here they are a few hours later at 'Jump On It" basically a giant warehouse full of trampolines and bounce houses. Every kids dream right?

This is Natalie with her sunburn and hillbilly tooth. Yesterday I cleaned out all three of our storage sheds in the carport, and it was sunny but a bit chilly. So I put Natalie in her stroller in the sun. Oops. I didn't realize it was that long. But of course no complaints from the girl. She is my fairest one so far. I will defiantly have to be careful with her this Summer.

The Dinosaur Museum

So this week is spring break. Not that it makes a huge difference for us, Austin is only in preschool 3 days a week. But this year for the holidays we decided to go out and fight the crowds of kids for a little piece of the action. Please enjoy...

Here we are at the dinosaur museum. The kids loved it. They had all sorts of fun stuff for them to do. Natalie was very patient just hanging out in the stroller most of the time.

Here they are at the water and sand table. This kept them occupied for quite a while. Shaun had to be reminded a few times that we don't throw sand.

Enjoying the sweet views that the dinosaur museum has to offer. Poor Natalie got out of the stroller for a photo and was promptly put back in. And of course no complaints from the girl.

They had a great time. It did however put a damper on Austin's day when Shaun pushed the handicapped door button on the way out, and not her. Believe me Austin I know what a pain it is to have a little brother.

Tonight Ben and I took our little man out on a date. We went to Zurchers (party store) and he got a gun, sword and a pirate hat. Then we went out to dinner, then ice skating, and of course to Grandpa Stacy's Maceys for ice cream. He had a blast. I'm not sure which he liked better, the ice skating or the pirate paraphernalia.

He really got into it. He fell down quite a bit, but he kept at it. He is such a cutie.

Home Improvements

New wainscoting.
Benny and my daddy did this for me for my birthday. We have done so many improvements on our home, it makes me so sad that we are going to move. Oh well I guess it is time to move on. We will be renting for the next 4 to 5 years. I think Ben will appreciate the break from painting and repairs though.
Some day we just might buy a home that has already been improved.

So this is Austin's first year playing soccer and she LOVES it! She is quite a tough little thing. And when she gets tired she just runs right off the field to get a drink.

She loves these sunglasses. It was hard to convince her to take them off before the game stared.

This is Shaun and Hannah Montana. Austin is in LOVE with Hannah Montana. Though up until last week she had never seen the show, or movie. About a year ago Ben bought her a little microphone with H.M. on it and she has been in love ever since. We just let her watch the movie, and she was surprised to realize that H.M. real name is Miley, and she has brown hair just like Austin.

Here is our little bear, not much of a complainer. My parents bought all of my kids life jackets (thanks Mom and Dad) The big kids love them. Every morning they wake me up and say, "Mom can you unbuckle my life jacket I need to go potty" Natalie on the other hand is not so sure.

I love this little group of little people. The weather has been beautiful lately. We have had a lot of fun outside.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!

We had a wonderful Christmas and New year. We spent time with friends and family. I love the holidays. I'm so sad that they are over, and now we start the dreadful January where the snow is just not as exciting as it was in December.

Here is our cute family. My mom and dad got them matching sweaters for Christmas. And stop judging my messy house in the background.

Our little miss Natalie Jane is getting so big. She is such a good baby. I love getting her all dressed up in Austin's old clothes.

We had a fun little New Years party. Until Ben announced (without speaking to me first) that he would give every person there a $20 bill if he did not meet his weight loss goals by his birthday. Gotta love new years resolutions.

The primary in our ward put on a nativity scene this year for our ward Christmas party. Austin was very sad she did not get to play Mary. But lucky for her she has her own baby, and brother. She is quite the little director.

Now these lovely ladies, a tooth fairy, (Jesse) a witch without a hat, (Me) and a pregnant fairy (Autumn) had a wonderful time at the party.

So it's taken us a while, but Ben and I finally did our room. I absolutely love it! Now keep in mind that I'm almost done with the quilt I'm making for our bed spread. The one that's on there now my dad made for me. :) Don't I have an awesome dad?!

So I made these blocks. Ben cut the wood for me. I love them.

I got two of these frames at a garage sale and painted them.

This is one of my favorite parts. I got this mirror and dresser from KSL and painted them. They turned out super cute. (I also painted the nightstand, next picture)

Our romantic bed. I have wanted a bed like this ever since I was little.

We got mirrors on our closets. I think they make the room look bigger. And I can actually see what I look like before I go out the door.

Today my Sister-in-law Elaina had her baby shower. She is having a girl. I'm so excited for her. Natalie will have someone to play with.

I mainly wanted to post my little Natalie who is getting SO big. She will be three months old on the 13th. And then I saw some more pictures that you all might enjoy. So... Enjoy.

This is Austin and Shaun on Natalie's blessing day. I know we need to get some more church clothes for that boy. All of his pants are high waters. But I must say he pulls it off well.

Here is my Shaun boy at the park. He LOVES to ride his bike. I got both of them bikes at a garage sale for $5 each! Yes they are ghetto, but the kids think they are the best. In other Shaun Boy news, we are attempting to potty train him. He has had two accidents thus far, But I think he will get it in no time. He loves his Thomas Train and Transformers underwear.

We had a little luau with some of Ben's family, So here we are outside our house all decked out. Perhaps some day we will actually go to Hawaii.... some day.

This is my first quilt I made (with much help from the mother) I made it for my sister in law Dawn, who just had her 4th child. If you don't look too closely, I would say it turned out just fine.

Here she is my little Natalie Jane. Pasty little thing isn't she. She is smiling these days and making all sorts of cute little noises. Austin and Shaun just love her. This last weekend we moved the girls in the same room. Now that Natalie is sleeping through the night. Hallelujah!

She is here! Natalie Jane Hunter. 7 pounds 15 ounces. Blonde hair and blonde eyelashes. She is such a good little baby. She loves to eat, sleep and snuggle.

We just got back from a family reunion in Arizona. (and now I want to move there) the weather was so nice!
This is Austin and her Great Mamal. Austin just loves her! I am so glad that they have bonded so well.

Disneyland

We finally made it. It was 85 degrees and not crowded at all. Austin and Shaun did better than expected on the car ride.... but Shaun did get a little sick in the car and threw up all over himself. We had to stop at my uncle's house to give him a bath. Then we were on the way...
Here we are in line for autopia. Austin was so excited she got to drive her own car. After a getting whip lash a few times I had to take over. Shaun went with Uncle Shane, he didn't like it very much.

Austin and Shaun just loved Mamal and Papal's dog sisco. She couldn't believe the dog jumped right on her lap.

Here is Papal and sisco. I must say if I were a dog I would definatley want to be that one. He is treated like royalty. :)

Shaun back at Mamal's house with his most prized possesion. (well one is technically Austin's) He was running around hitting the fence with his sword. He thought he was so funny.

Notice here that Austin is wearing a diaper. It was a long day with lots of excitement.

Shane, Austin and Shaun are so excited we are out of the car. Shaun's Pooh will not be that clean after we leave, but he did enjoy Disneyland too.

Austin had this map the entire day. She made sure we all knew where the dreaded "Whale Ride" was.

Austin and Uncle Shane on the tea cups. They were spinning alot faster than Mommy and Shaun. After the spewing in the car I did not want to take any chances.

I had to reassure Austin she would get her map back right after the picture.

One of the favorite rides of the day was the 'Gumbo' ride. This is what Austin liked the best about her previous trip to Disneyland. She likes the fact that she is in charge of the controls the best.

Shaun boy absolutley loved the train. He would ride this one all day if he could. Two days before he fell in the mall parking lot and got a bonk on his forehead. Just in time for all the pictures.

Shaun was so tired when we got back. He just snuggled right up to Mamal with his bottle. It was so cute. We had such a fun trip.

Disneyland here we come!
On Monday we are packing up the car and headed to California. The kids are so excited about going to see Mamal and Disneyland.

Waiting patiently while the nice girl at the bank dumps out thier piggys into the change counting thing. I'm not quite sure what Austin is doing here.

We are not leaving until Monday, but everyday Austin says "ok after naps we are going to Disneyland and Mamals house, okay?"

For Christmas my Mom gave Austin a book called Pinkalicious. It's about a girl that ate too many pink cupcakes and turned pink. So obviously we had to make pink cupcakes... But she was slightly disappointed when she realized she was not turning pink.

They were alot of help in the kitchen.

Congratulations Doug and Tricia
On January 2nd my little brother Doug got married to Tricia Beck. We are all so excited for them. Tricia is a nurse and Doug will be going to school. Hopefully my kids will get some cousins soon. :)

Here they are fresh out of the temple. Her dress was beautiful! Little Lou boy looked so handsome too.

Merry Christmas

Ok, I know it's mid January, but here is our Christmas! The kids were very excited. Shaun got a train and Austin got make-up and a tea set. Who could ask for more?

Here is Shaun boy showing his Dad how it works. At first he was very particular about who got too close to "MY TRAIN!!!" But that was mainly for Austin the train robber.

Though Austin did not have trouble at all sharing her lipstick with Shaun.

This is Asutin's dream come true. Her very own make-up. After the first day we had to start supervising a little closer when we found nail polish all over the TV.

Here we are at E.F.Y. having more than our fair share of Krispy Kremes. Behind us are magazine ads that we had been collecting for the previous year to use as wall paper. I love Krispy Kremes!

Here we are rolling into E.F.Y. as usaul Lisa makes me do all of the heavy labor. Just about our whole school year was dedicated to the planning of and picking out of outfits just for E.F.Y... And what do you know niether of us met our husbands there. Go figure.

This is Spirit week the somphomres are red and the juniors blue. Rachel Eyenon, Maria Klewein, Lisa in a plastic wig, Amanda Sommers and Me. Now do we have style or what?

Here we are at seminary doing a final check on our "Ugly Day" outfits before school. Lisa's pants were awesome! I think we both ended up with unibrows and blacked out teeth as the day went on.

We did makeovers at my house and got a bit carried away... we ended up as cannibals, and the poor sacraficial Bainzy got sucked into it too.

And yes... That is Taylor Penrod. I think I offered him all of the change in my pocket to do this to him.... It was under a dollar.

This is at girls camp... Lisa, Lisa's Mom and me. Notice the look on Lisa's face, Her Mom had just said something about how she was concieved.... That didn't make for a happy Lisa.

All in all I must say that Lisa is a dang good friend! Unibrow and everything!

Tea Party

Now that Thanksgiving is over and Ben went back to work we are back to everyday life. The kids seem to be enjoying it.

The day after Thanksgiving we had family pictures with the Hunter's, and there sure are alot of them. As you can see Ben is not taking any crap this year!

This shot was supposed to just be Bill and Judy and all of the grand kids... But 3 moms later, we can all see that wasn't happening. It's the thought that counts.

Here are all of the women. We are far more photogenic then the boys! Thats just how it goes.

This is Austin and her favorite cousin Grant. They are so cute together. Grant said that when he sees Austin they are going to dance and then play cars. Austin had no objections.

Last weekend I went to go see Twilight with Tara and her family. I liked it... but thought it was slightly corny, then the next night Ben and I went to see it, and I loved it the second time. I can't wait to see it again!

The Zoo

Today Tara and I went to the zoo with our 4 kids. It was quite an adventure. Luckily for me I am nearly done with my first trimester, otherwise I wouldn't have made it through the reptile house. It smelled like a liter box that hadn't been changed in 2 months. Sadly I know that smell all too well!

This is Shaun and Grady checking out some sort of animal most likely. Little do they know it... But they will probably be best buds in about 6 months or so.

Here are the chillens riding the bronze tigers. They wouldn't let us ride the real ones. Go figure.

This picture is mainly proof that I was there and didn't pawn off my kids on Tara for the day... with 4 kids, 4 car seats and 1 stroller.

Here is Shaun on the carousel... He is riding the ant eater. And that is Tara in the background looking like she is about to say the "F" word. Probably because Shaun got to ride the ant eater. Curses like a sailor that one!

Quirks.
Lisa sent me a quirks tag. This will not be nearly as funny, or weird as her's:
Un: I don't eat mayonase! I don't let my husband eat it, I don't keep ot in the house, and my kids have no idea what it is. I think it's NASTY!

deux: Similar to Lisa (with the holiday thing) I LOVE Christmas! My siblings and I would spend forever "talking about Christmas" when we were little. Basically you take turns saying what you want for Christmas. Lame, I know. But I have to admit, Christmas has gotten so much better with the addition of kids!

trois: This is odd... I love to draw floor plans of our future house... I do them to extreme detail. Then I color them, and show it to Ben. Then later I randomly quiz him on it to make sure he was paying attention.

quatre: I cannot eat and watch a movie at the same time. Something like candy is fine. But I get grossed out by everything! Even some of the characters, and lose my appetite. I always make Ben pause it until I'm done.

cinq: I am very picky meat eater, and sometimes vegetarian. I don't eat things like steak or roast, but the meat that I do eat I have to cut it into very small pieces and examine it. Especially chicken.

six: I rarely to never have naked toenails. I think they look weird. Don't get me wrong, They get to the point where the paint is about all chipped off. But never fully nude.
